where作關代的時候是=(介係詞+which), 想請問這樣以下我造的句子, 這樣用where是否可以?

1. The wall where he gazed is full of graffiti.
(where=at which)

2. The seat where he had been stared was taken.
(where=at which)

3. The countries where we always give our support are our ally.
(where=to which)

4. This is the school where they donated the money.
(where=to which)

5. The mansion where he spent much money is located in the city.
(where=on which)

6. They paid a visit to the restaurant where they provide the recipes and
ingredients.

(where=for which)

7. The company where I sent the samples has not given me any reply yet.

這不是可不可以的問題。「where(關係副詞)」和「介係詞+which」兩者間不是「絕對相等」-- 不是100%可以任意代換。是的話你也不用問了，反正絕對性的相等，所以直接代換就是絕對性的正確。但是事實上不是如此，也因為事實上不是如此，所以你這樣子問/造句沒有太大意義。

你自己可以用這些網站來查你造的句子：

• Google Books(books.google.com 專找出版品）。能找出"正確使用"的句子機會「較大」（只是比較大而已，不是絕對正確））
• Corpus of Contemporary American English(corpus.byu.edu/coca/)。能找出"正確使用"的句子機會比前者又大些。這個corpus網站的一個好處是有標出 "registers", 比如是 spoken, academic text, fiction 等等
• 一些知名的新聞網站也可以用他們的搜尋功能來找。比如The New York Times 等等

好處是你可以直接學英文母語的人如何表達。（不要「只讀」一個句子）

謝謝你的回覆, 我了解where=介係詞+which不會絕對相等, 只是因為我覺得這些句子我造的時候, 感覺有時候覺得通, 有時候覺得不通, 所以會想請教一下對大家來說, 這樣用where會不會怪怪的?

原則上你靠自己（用背過的文法規則）拼湊出來的句子都是有問題的。也許會有部份比例的句子「剛好」沒問題(*1)，但是你無法肯定的知道下一個你自己造出來的句子是怎樣的一個情況。我的回答對你的英文學習不會有幫助。

其實你可以直接問英文母語的人: 下列網站有回答品質不錯的英文母語的人出沒。要注意回答的人的背景就是，有些人也是英文非母語的learners）
