-->I know we don't have to use period when it comes to this:
I will see him at ten a.m.

Q: DO we have to use . when the situation meeets a question mark?
Like the following sentence?

Shall we meet them on Saturday night at ten a.m .?

Thank you

Good question, indeed!

a.m. or A.M.
adj, adv
before noon: in the period between midnight and noon. Full from ante meridiem
Thesaurus: a.m. (adj)
morning, before noon, before lunch, pre-lunch
antonym: p.m. [post meridiem]

我用的 Windows OS (operating system) 是英文版的, 在 Task Schedule / System Maintenance 會看到 "AM" 或 "PM".

以您的例句而言, 如果是"書寫", 我建議最好是小寫要用 "." 或者是大寫不用 "." => "a.m." or "AM"; 如果是 "口語", 說話時可以用 "in the morning" 來表示 (or ten AM).

-----------------------------------------

I sometimes get confused if "後記/附筆/又及" should be written as "P.S./Ps./p.s." or "PS/Ps/ps"…. So, I did some search, and here is my finding:

P.S. or p.s. => postscript [from Latin, postscriptum].

I have been wrong using P.s. or Ps. for years!
Thank you very much for bringing this question up. [revised]
