Who's calling please?


這是非常禮貌的方式來詢問打電話人的姓名。


I'd like to speak to...


使用這句話來告訴對方您要通話的人姓名。

Speaking


如果您說"我想和Shirley講話",而她就是接電話的人,她會回答說"Speaking!",表示This is Shirley speaking'。

I'm sorry, the line's busy.


這表示對方正在和其他人通話或者電話佔線。

Would you mind holding?

如果電話佔線,您可以詢問打電話的人是否願意等一會。

Would you like to leave a message?


如果您想通話的人不在,接電話的人會問 take a message(您是否需要留言)。

Extension number
