A Terrible Experience

A Terrible Experience

I had a terrible experience when I was just entering Chen Yuan Senior High School.
The sun shone in the brilliant blue sky. It was the afternoon that I finished registering the names of the pupils, and became a senior high student. I got home and found no one home, so I had to use a key to open the door. I didn’t carry the key, however, then I thought that I could go into the house by scaling a window. I had no sensation a whole day because I fell and hurt hardly. My parents told me all about it with anxious looks after I came to.
I was saved by a neighbor and sent into a hospital. On hearing the bad news, my parents came immediately; my mother’s soul seemed to leave away, especially. That time I still talked about something like “Mom, I’m sorry.” She just comforted me by saying “It’s OK!” I was really scared. I forget all the things but only the feeling of fear.
With my left anklebone broke, I didn’t go to school for a month. The doctor said I have to perform an operation, but I still can’t run or swim. Thus my father took me to see a practitioner of Chinese medicine. If winter comes, can spring be far away? Now I am really restored to health, also can run and swim.
The terrible experience that I‘ll never forget reminds me of a word: happiness lies, first of all, in health. I will treasure my life forever, and it’s also the best assurance to my parents.
